Artist - 水野 教雄 Mizuno Norio(1950-present)
In 2010, Mizuno Norio was recognized as a holder of the Seto City designated intangible cultural property “Nerikomi Ceramic Art.” He is currently a member of the Nitten Association and a director of the Japan New Craftsmen’s Association.
In addition to applying traditional Nerikomi patterns, he is also experimenting with realistic patterns in search of new ways to express Nerikomi.
