Translation:
Left: 作人要在一点素心 - "Sakujin youzai iten soshin" - Anyone who wants to be a good person must have best been lief.
Right: 交友須帯三分侠気 - "Kouya sube karaku sanbu kyoki" - To maintain friendships, you have to have a heart to match the other person for about 30%
