Go Seigen Jujube Goke with Clamshell and River Slate Goishi
Two go seigen goke (rounded go stone bowls, in the chinese style) made from jujube wood, containing 157 white goishi (go stones) and 175 river slate (black) goishi. This is not quite a complete set, but would be more than enough to play go on a 13x13 or 9x9 board. Two of the white goishi are made from glass and the rest are made from clamshell. These goishi are quite thick, with a minor axis measuring just under 3/8". The black stones are slightly larger than the white stones as is standard; they are just over 7/8" in diameter while the white stones are slightly less than 7/8" in diameter. This is to negate the optical illusion which makes white stones appear larger than black stones of equal diameter.
Goke Dimensions:
- 4", 4.8" (height, diameter)
- 4", 5.2" (height, diameter)
