Subject: 火消しの装いをした芸者がお咎め

A geisha dressed as a firefighter is reprimanded by a police officer.

 On March 14th, during a fire in Kofune-cho, a policeman stopped a suspicious woman wearing navy cotton Momohiki, a Zukin, Zori, and a sashiko Hanten coat.

 He asked for her name and address. The woman was a geisha named Omasa, the adopted daughter of Masakiya Hotei tei in Osaka-cho. She was scolded by the policeman and had to pay a fine.
