Kiln - 安加比古窯 Akahiko Kama (Name of the kiln)
It has been 65 years since the kiln was opened in Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture. Currently, it is run by the third generation 加藤 隆生 Kato Takao.
Craftsman - 松本 鐵山 Matsumoto Tetsuzan (1933-Unknown)
Matsumoto Tetsuzan was the second son of 山口 錠鉄 Yamaguchi Jotetsu, a family that has been engaged in pottery making for over 300 years as “赤津の窯屋山口 Akatsu Pottery Yamaguchi.” He was adopted into his mother’s family’s pottery business and took over the business.
